Matching Your Skills To Employer Demand

Discussion 05.1: My Gap AnalysisMy skills gaps are performing well under pressure, having a winning attitude and flexibility/adaptability. If I had the next three months to develop a soft skill, I would focus on performing well under pressure. The reason for focusing on this particular soft skill is because it is the one I am most deficient in and further most employers would favour employees who can work under pressure because changes in business environment often create unexpected pressure on employees. The soft skill of performing well under pressure is also important for team work where for example one team member in indisposed and each of the remaining team membershave to work under pressure. The job specific skill I would focus on in the next three month is information and communication technology. I think this is a very important and fast changing skill. Therefore I would need to focus on it to ensure that I am current with the latest technology.
