Discussion 2: Values and careersMy idea career includes being a medical officer as well as a medical leader. This field is becoming more important in the healthcare field. My values as a medical officer leader include listening as this allows me to seek out the ideas of the team I am leading at the same time retaining the ultimate decision-making authority. Vision is also another important value. In any healthcare facility, it is important to have a vision. In this field, there are various challenges and setback and in order to solve those challenges it is important to have a good leader who is able to manage the occurring challenges and place focus on the big picture on how to tackle the challenges in the coming future. Integrity is also important value as it is important in setting moral tone for the other staff.
