Leaders are required to adopt new skills to meet the new challenges posed by the 21st-century organization. Multinational corporations have increasingly faced complexities in international environments especially in relationships. This trend necessitates adaptation in the leadership style to avoid conflicts. Cultural differences pose a challenge to the decision-making process by making it complicated. In order for leaders to manage their teams effectively, they need to be aware and show appreciation for the existing cultures. The approach adopted in decision-making must be one that leads to decisions that are the most acceptable.This study offers a summary of the concepts acquired in the syllabus. It gives a reflection on the different topics including ethical leadership, decision making, the formation of alliances and emotional intelligence. It brings out the role of the organizational leader in the 21st century. It does this by reviewing the nature of the current business environment and the role that the leadership has in overcoming the existing challenges. This reflection covers all the themes that arise from the syllabus. Its aim is to develop a quick understanding of the challenges in the
