Personal Assessment of Strengths Name Course Tutors Name Date Personal Assessment of Strengths According to Gallups Clifton StrengthsFinder my strengths are Positivity, Achiever, Learner, Includer, and Command. My initial reaction is a great surprise. Although I know that I look for the positive in every situation and take pride in my achievements. Although I a generally a positive person in the sense of having positive expectancy that generally good things will happen and in terms of positive attitude I did not realise my strength in Positivity in the specific description of Gallups Clifton StrengthsFinder . I was vaguely aware of my Learner strengths but I was surprised to see Command as part of my strengths. This is because I am generally not an authoritative person. I prefer to engage and negotiate rather than give commands. I will proceed how these strengths relate to my leadership style. Positivity has greatly influenced my leadership style in that I look for results without focusing immediate compliance. I do not expect employees to immediately leave the tasks at hand for immediate compliance with my instructions. In this way I do not cause people to feel devalued or forced into certain actions. The core of
