May2019)During my career, the leader of our department expects from me to always deliver what is been asked from me ahead of time and he always asks more and expect more from me. In the beginning I saw that as exhausting and unfair, but I have done what is asked from me with a smile. One day the performance review and the yearly appraisal came, and I was shocked with the amount of appreciation I saw in a form of promotion and salary increment. This has motivated me to do more and aim for higher level of professional achievements.Nowadays, I’m managing a small team of 5 and I have been applying the LMX theory with out knowing about it from this course, the knowledge I gained help me refine some concept when dealing with my team to increase their productivity and motivation ReferencesLee, A., Thomas, G., Martin, R., & Guillaume, Y.
