There is however, a series on Netflix that captured my attention last year that made me binge watch the first 2 seasons, and highly anticipate season 3 which comes out in October. Thirteen Reasons Why first caught my eye in the trending now headlines on Netflix, it then started trending heavily on twitter, and soon after it hit the news as a controversial series to watch. I decided to give it a try and was hooked. The fact that this teen girl so carefully thought out her suicide plan and tape recorded 13 cassettes to be passed around to all of those who had a part in her wanting to commit suicide is brilliant and makes a great storyline. Tom McCarthy does a fabulous job directing the cast of his show on a topic that is both difficult and controversial. Seeing the teens react to their "part" in her feeling depressed, and dealing with the knowledge that their actions contributed to
