America has always associated Muslims in the country with cult of violence and criminal ideology. The enraged nature that colored Americans in 1964, when Muhammad made it clear that he had joined Islam is the same rage that Americans feel towards Muslim-Americans in the United States. Majority of Americans strongly believe that Muslim-Americans do not harbor good intentions (Roberts & Smith 1).Therefore, the biggest current issue that faces Muslim-Americans according to Washington Post is the element of distrust and close association with violence and war.
