SummaryI see myself as a leader because I possess most of the traits of good leadership. Most of the characteristics such as friendliness, self-confidence and determination are inherent, while I have learned some characteristics such as empathy, tolerance and self-assurance from other great leaders. I have the two characteristics described in the skill theory of leadership, which are the human and conceptual skills. I am usually friendly, I talks freely and gets along well with others, which demonstratemy ability to work with people. I also possess conceptual skill, which refers to the ability to work with broad concepts and ideas. In my own assessment, I have realized that I am an insightful and hardworking leader, which enables me to work with broad concepts and ideas. However, I have realized that I am not favored by the situations. My colleagues believe that I am a good leader too. In a recent Least-Preferred Co-Worker (LPC) Scale analysis, the least preferred co-worker indicated that they see leadership qualities in me. The colleague believes that I have higher than average effectiveness to communicate ideas in a manner that the members can easily understand. He also believes that I have above average insightful character.
