When individuals know what they believe in, it will fuel one's outlook on life concerning decision making, priorities, and the direction to which one's life would take. What a person believes as a consequence that is either positive or negative, thus the need to know what one believes in. Additionally, what a person believes will act as a door in that it brings forth realities into one's life or shut them down. For instance, when Jesus said that one who believes in him will have an everlasting life; it is evident that a person who believes in Jesus words will act as per the teachings (Mears, 2007, p.405).
