We have a very broad range economic backgrounds, that is anywhere from elite multi-millionaires to very poor and homeless. There is a lot of ethnic diversity. People move here from all over the world and we are a seasonal town so we have a lot of people who have vacation homes here. We do have a large migrant population from Mexico and the Dominican republic. The community is very accepting of the LGBTQ community and just of people in general. Are there organizations in your community that promote diversity? Are there organizations that work to raise the visibility and understanding of particular groups within your community? There are some organizations that do promote diversity. The community does host a Gay Pride event. They host a Greek festival, Mexican heritage events, Italian festival, German festival, and we have a Holocaust museum. We have a strong presence of pro-life groups.
