As we walked to the library, I asked her about her class work. She informs me that she enjoys learning and that she was going to prepare for a test in the library coming the following week. I was curiously interested in knowing her cognitive development, so I requested thirty minutes of her time, and she accepted. Since earlier, she hinted about leadership, I decided to ask her what she thinks about the leadership in the country. Mary Johnson told me that even though America has developed in terms of democratic space and economy, she was concerned that issues to do with racism still affect some people in the country.
