The many years that have passed without a clear way forward whether Americans and people around the world should drink more coffee, has added to the many theories that project coffee as a bad drink. The nutrition panel, findings, therefore, comes as not only a shock but also too late. People have already made up their mind. Americans in particular have taken an active role in choosing lifestyles that support their health. It is unlikely that after Americans have read the nutrition panel’s conclusion would increase their coffee intake. The health rhetoric that the panelists have associated with coffee is not enough reason to make Americans increase their coffee intake. In this paper, we argue that the health benefit associated with drinking more than one cup of coffee is not a reason enough to influence coffee consumption in the United States.The fact that the nutrition panelists established that drinking at least three to five cups of coffee every day helps in reducing risks of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, there is no enough scientific evidence to prove that
