Reply Ken Simpsom Dear ken, I share your views on the existence of two positions for the stakeholders. In theory Position B seems perfect but in a real life situation, position A always prevails. I was of the opinion that there exists an intermediary position between A and B. If such position exists, then it will be the most popular. While we would measure the suitability of a company based on several criteria such as ethics, most people would consider only the profitability aspect. It’s time we spread the word if we expect a change in the mode of thinking among most investors. Thanks..Reply SuzanneHi SuzanneThanks for the reply. Indeed, as an investor one is always profit minded. As long as the company is making profit, we care less about ethical issue and the reputations for company executive. However as a good investor, it is always a great idea to think long term. Personally I will be concerned with the reputation of all Board members since by doing this am assured of long-term returns. In addition I will be proud to be associated with a company that has a good reputation.Regards…
