The phrase human rights violations before taking this class would have me envisioning countries where the people do not have adequate shelter, food, or water.However, now that I am in this course, I have realized that there are numerous instances of human rights violations within our country. After doing more research, I have come to realize that I myself was a victim of a human rights violation concerning women’s rights related to domestic violence abuse.
