Gabrielle Enright Alumni Spotlight: Gabrielle EnrightCommunication graduate Gabrielle Enright is using her degree as a television anchor/reporter to inform her community and share their stories with the world.What made you want to go back to school to pursue a degree in Communication?I always wanted a degree and began to pursue it right out of high school. In 1997, I was hired at WHIO-TV as a camera operator and my irregular hours made it difficult to get to current class. As I continued to get promoted to positions with non-traditional work hours, I was having trouble balancing work and school. I needed a new strategy. An online education option was exactly what I needed. I was able to work on a deadline, which I could handle, but do the work during hours I could choose. Choosing a degree in Communication was an obvious choice. I am a paid communicator! Why did you pick Walden to pursue your degree?I chose Walden University because I wanted to attend a university that was accredited and had a good reputation among its graduates.
