Thus the only factor which makes the person to be classified as either transformational or servant leader is the leader ability to shift the primary focus of leadership from the organization to the follower.Greenleaf TheoryAccording to the servant-leadership theory by Greenleaf, the leader assumes the position of servant while interacting with the followers. According to this theory, the real legitimate and authentic leadership does not result from when the leader exercises the power and clout but when he listens to the people and has a desire to help his subordinates. Greenleaf also asserted that the primary feature of a servant leader is to motivate and encourage the feeling of greatness in the subordinates.
