Week 9 Capstone CheckPoint Angelina M. Cortez COM/220 December15, 2011 Christopher Beyers Week 9 Capstone Checkpoint Now that I have finished my research paper, the advice that I would give to any other prospective students would be a list of revelations that I have experienced over the last 9 weeks. I have listed these in the order of importance as I have realized these are the keys to succeeding in this course. Quiet time dedicated top reading and ensuring the comprehension and mental absorption of the literature in this course. I cannot stress how important this is, simply because the information that you absorb and practice stick with you and will become second nature. I did not spend as much time with the reading material as I would have normally done, and this is reflected in my overall grade and written work. Meditating on the pointers given in the homework regarding APA formatting, alphabetizing the references, proper in text citations, and full sentence outlines have been areas that I believe I need to keep fresh in my mind because these are great tools to use when writing and can help to convey a more thorough, and concise piece of communication.
